Caroline Terra de Oliveira (UFPEL)<\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>RESUMO<\/strong><\/p><p>O presente Simp\u00f3sio Tem\u00e1tico tem por objetivo a discuss\u00e3o de trabalhos acad\u00eamicos\/cient\u00edficos, produzidos e organizados por acad\u00eamicos\/as, p\u00f3s-graduandos\/as, pesquisadores\/as e\/ou grupos de pesquisa, sobre a Alfabetiza\u00e7\u00e3o Cient\u00edfica e a Educa\u00e7\u00e3o Ambiental para o Ensino de Ci\u00eancias, considerando-se, neste debate, as quest\u00f5es relacionadas \u00e0 perspectiva te\u00f3rico-conceitual, ao planejamento, \u00e0s metodologias e pr\u00e1ticas pedag\u00f3gicas para esta \u00e1rea do conhecimento. \u00c9 inten\u00e7\u00e3o, deste simp\u00f3sio, promover discuss\u00f5es sobre o Ensino de Ci\u00eancias, pr\u00e1tica entendida como complexa (MORIN) em si mesma. Buscamos, neste simp\u00f3sio, ampliar as compreens\u00f5es de Ensino e de Ci\u00eancias, assim como, da pr\u00f3pria discuss\u00e3o sobre Alfabetiza\u00e7\u00e3o Cient\u00edfica e Educa\u00e7\u00e3o Ambiental. Compreendemos, dessa maneira, que trabalhar Ci\u00eancias, na Educa\u00e7\u00e3o Infantil, nos Anos Iniciais e Finais do Ensino Fundamental e tamb\u00e9m no Ensino M\u00e9dio, na perspectiva da Alfabetiza\u00e7\u00e3o Cient\u00edfica (SASSERON e CARVALHO; LORENZETTI e DELIZOICOV; KRASILCHIK; MORAES), possibilita, ampliar a compreens\u00e3o de mundo (FREIRE; LORENZETTI e DELIZOICOV). Assim como, entendemos que a Educa\u00e7\u00e3o Ambiental, numa perspectiva cr\u00edtica (LOUREIRO; LAYRARGUES; PORTO-GON\u00c7ALVES), pode proporcionar (re)vis\u00f5es sobre as possibilidades e alternativas de interven\u00e7\u00e3o e an\u00e1lise da realidade s\u00f3cio ambiental. A investiga\u00e7\u00e3o sobre a pr\u00e1tica pedag\u00f3gica do\/a professor\/a formado em Pedagogia, Ci\u00eancias Biol\u00f3gicas, Qu\u00edmica ou F\u00edsica, para o Ensino de Ci\u00eancias, \u00e9, para os proponentes deste Simp\u00f3sio, a busca por apreender as possibilidades, as dificuldades, as continuidades e descontinuidades, os avan\u00e7os e retrocessos, as inova\u00e7\u00f5es e as perman\u00eancias sobre o processo de educa\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica, tanto na escola p\u00fablica (municipal, estadual e federal) como na privada. Interessa-nos, da mesma maneira, compreender como a Educa\u00e7\u00e3o Cient\u00edfica tem sido constru\u00edda no ensino superior e, desse modo, como os pesquisadores, que se ocupam em pensar sobre a Alfabetiza\u00e7\u00e3o Cient\u00edfica e a Educa\u00e7\u00e3o Ambiental, nessa etapa da educa\u00e7\u00e3o, t\u00eam trazido como contribui\u00e7\u00f5es para a \u00e1rea. Consideramos este Simp\u00f3sio um espa\u00e7o de resist\u00eancia e constru\u00e7\u00e3o do conhecimento sobre a escola, numa perspectiva de demonstrar, mostrar e proporcionar debates acad\u00eamicos\/cient\u00edficos, com a rigorosidade que a academia possibilita e exige, sobre aquilo que, no \u00e2mbito da Alfabetiza\u00e7\u00e3o Cient\u00edfica e da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o Ambiental para o Ensino de Ci\u00eancias se tem pesquisado e contribu\u00eddo para consolidar e ampliar as discuss\u00f5es nessas \u00e1reas.<\/p><p><strong>Palavras-chave:<\/strong> Ensino de Ci\u00eancias; Alfabetiza\u00e7\u00e3o Cient\u00edfica; Educa\u00e7\u00e3o Ambiental; Pr\u00e1tica Pedag\u00f3gica<\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Scientific literacy and environmental education: teaching of sciences and pedagogical practice<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>ABSTRACT<\/strong><\/p><p>This Thematic Symposium aims to discuss academic\/scientific works produced and organized by academics, post-graduates, researchers and\/or research groups on Scientific Literacy and Environmental Education for Science Teaching in this debate, the issues related to the theoretical-conceptual perspective, planning, methodologies and pedagogical practices for this area of knowledge. It is the intention of this symposium to promote discussions about the Teaching of Sciences, a practice understood as complex (MORIN) in itself. We seek, in this symposium, to broaden the understanding of Teaching and Science, as well as the discussion about Scientific Literacy and Environmental Education itself. In this way, we understand that working in Science, Early Childhood Education, Initial and Final Years of Elementary Education and also in Secondary Education, from the perspective of Scientific Literacy (SASSERON and CARVALHO; LORENZETTI and DELIZOICOV; KRASILSHIK; MORAES) understanding of the world (FREIRE; LORENZETTI and DELIZOICOV). As well, we understand that Environmental Education, in a critical perspective (LOUREIRO; LAYRARGUES; PORTO-GON\u00c7ALVES), can provide (re) visions on the possibilities and alternatives of intervention and analysis of the socio-environmental reality. The research on the pedagogical practice of the teacher formation in Pedagogy, Biological Sciences, Chemistry or Physics, for Science Teaching, is, for the proponents of this Symposium, the search for apprehending the possibilities, difficulties, continuities and discontinuities, advances and setbacks, innovations and permanences on the process of scientific education, both in the public (municipal, state and federal) as in the private school. It is also interesting to understand how Scientific Education has been built in higher education and, therefore, how the researchers, who are engaged in thinking about Scientific Literacy and Environmental Education at this stage of education, have brought contributions to the area.
